if accepted as SHORT paper: 6 LNCS pages 
Exceptions need to be approved by the respective programme chairs.

Please use the additional 2 pages for full papers to address the reviewers comments
and scale up figures with tiny fonts.

   submission complies with all formatting guidelines given there for
   "Proceedings and Other Multiauthor Volumes"

Format Check

-   Download this file:

-   Print this document, with "Page scaling = none" and 100% size on the SAME PRINTER as your document.

-   Put them on top of each other and check, against the light, if your printed area is
    EXACTLY the SAME SIZE, and *approximately* the SAME POSITION than the sample document.

-   Check for all formatting guidelines in the sample document.

-   Do NOT insert any page numbers or running headers/footers yourself.
REMOVE any page numbers or running headers/footers if there are any.

PDF creation process

   For creating the PDF file, the following settings are important:

   - all fonts embedded and subsetted. Again, all fonts EMBEDDED and subsetted.
   - The manuscript's graphics should have resolutions of 600dpi for monochrome,
     300 dpi for grayscale, and 300 dpi for color.
   - The distiller compression options need to set to those 600dpi/300dpi settings
   - PDF encryption/passwords MUST NOT BE USED (would prevent compilation into book).

   If using Ghostscript for creating the PDF, the Prepress settings are recommended
   in the command line:
   > ps2pdf13 -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress

   A shareware PDF printer driver for Windows (using a ghostscript engine)
   is available at http://www.pdf995.com/download.html
   (you need both the "Pdf995 Printer Driver" and the "Free Converter",
    fully functionable with a nag screen).

Create a ZIP package

The ZIP package must contain:

    (a) PDF of the final (camera-ready) version of your contribution,
    AND:
    (b) Source (input) files from your textprocessing:
            (i)   For example, LaTeX2e files for the text and PS or EPS files for figures.
            (ii)  Final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX).
            (iii) Final PS file (please avoid using the option "reverse order").
            (iv)  RTF files (for word-processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX).
            (v)   Text processor source files for other systems (Word, FrameMaker, etc.)
    AND:
    (c) Source files for your images (see techinen.pdf on Springer website)
